In a nutshell
We are looking for a new person to join our sales team. He/She must be of mother tongue or extremely fluent in English, as well as have a B2 or C1 level of proficiency in Italian. Our sales target is aimed at international companies looking for top-tier digital marketing agencies and this sales position will be a key addition to our team. For this position, we include training and support in order to further develop hard and soft skills. Our sales process is guided and managed with support by the sales team and/or department heads, hence it is a team-based position, not an autonomous one.
We are willing to work with large, well-known companies and brands. This might signify a more complex sales process which will be challenging but, in turn, will be exciting and rewarding.
Location: Correggio (RE), ITALY → Webranking HQ
You will be working within the Sales department and in charge of new business development and after sales support. Additionally, you will take care of cross-selling and up selling services for the agency’s existing clients.
Role and responsibility
You will be involved in managing international leads coming (mostly) from European companies searching for a world-class digital marketing agency.
This is an exhilarating position that gives you the possibility to grow day-after-day, due to continuous training and field experiences. You will be directly managing many spontaneous leads coming from inbound activities and the agency’s website, together with other sales managers. In addition to that, you will actively look for new opportunities by generating fresh leads.
The sales process begins with listening and understanding the needs of the client, creating a proposal and ends with closing the contract and supporting the relationship – together with the account manager – during the whole contract lifetime.
The sales process may be complex and it has to be managed together with other sales managers or with technical department heads of specific services or teams.
You will report directly to the Sales Director.
Experience and Requirements
- English mother tongue or at least a C2 level
- Italian language at least B2 level
- Strong passion for digital
- Autonomy (needed for collaborative/team positions)
- Proficient public speaking skills and communication skills
Nice to have
- Other languages above C1
- Previous working experience in a digital marketing agency
- Previous working experience as a sales manager
